What is for sale on this page

These listings are the kit itself, not a business that sells kit: compressors and fill stations, cylinders, regulators, BCDs, wetsuits, and whole rental fleets. Most of it comes from dive centers upgrading, consolidating or closing down, which is why so much of it is offered as a single lot rather than piece by piece.

Buying used dive gear

• Compressors. Ask for running hours, the date of the last filter change, what filter stock is included, and a current air quality test certificate. An untested compressor is a rebuild you have not priced.
• Cylinders. Check the hydrostatic test date stamped on the neck, the visual inspection, the valve thread, and whether the tanks are oxygen clean. A cheap cylinder out of test is not cheap.
• Regulators and BCDs. Date of last service and by whom, condition of the first stage and the inflator, and whether service kits are still made for that model. Parts availability decides what a regulator is worth.
• Rental fleets. Ask for the size spread and the age spread, not the headline count — what matters is how many sets can go out on a boat tomorrow.
• Freight and duty. Weight decides the economics on everything here. Compressors ship as freight, and cylinders usually cannot travel full, so get a shipping quote before you agree a price.
